Lakewood, N.J. – The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) has named Jessica Leta a 2023 Ovation Award winner in the Emerging Leaders category. The Ovation Awards were announced October 4 and distributed in seven categories: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Emerging Leaders; Exceptional Educators; Impact; Innovation; Lifetime Leader and Women to Watch. Ms. Leta is one of five individuals at HFA honored by the NJCPA this year.
The Emerging Leaders category recognized savvy superstars who have been working in the accounting profession 10 years or less and have had noteworthy professional accomplishments; combined personal and professional achievements that merit special recognition; and/or actively participated in the advancement of the profession or NJCPA. The individuals stand out in the areas of professional knowledge, skill, integrity and leadership.
Jessica Leta is an Audit Supervisor at HFA in our Non-Profit Audit Department. Ms. Leta was specifically recognized as an Emerging Leader because of her commitment to growth within the accounting profession. Ms. Leta is not just a team member but a mentor and guide to her colleagues. One of Ms. Leta’s most notable achievements is her initiative in developing and presenting training sessions for HFA. She has created valuable resources that have not only enhanced the skills and knowledge of her colleagues but have also contributed to the overall improvement of our organization. HFA is immensely proud of her achievements and cannot wait to see what she does next!
